Frankie Perez is a a born entertainer. as mixed martial artist Frankie got his start in the sport through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with over 20 professional fights Frankie is a veteran of UFC, The World Series of Fighting (now the PFL and Ring of Combat.

Frankie is a DJ/entrepreneur and the owner of One Of A Kind Events LLC, which handles, Entertainment, Production and Event Planning for events in and around New Jersey as well as destination events.

When he's not training or hosting events, Frankie hosts the The 4 F's podcast; Famous, Females, Fighting & Fear.  These in-depth conversations are about 4 completely different subjects and how the intertwine with one another in every day lifestyles.  Frankie and his guests break down the subjects and has unfiltered real points of view that everyone can relate to.

In 1976, Dick Traum, an above the knee amputee, found himself approaching middle age and out of shape. After joining a local YMCA, Dick began running – small distances at first and then, eventually several miles. Within a year, Dick became the first amputee to run a marathon. It was the NYC Marathon and the experience was life changing, bringing a powerful sense of achievement and self-esteem. In 1983, seeking to provide that same opportunity to other people with disabilities, Dick created the Achilles Track Club, now called Achilles International.

This non-profit organization has chapters and members in over 65 locations within the United States and abroad. Dan Zolnikov and Jason Romero stopped by to talk about the Denver Chapter, it's group run that meets year round rain or shine on Monday's at 6pm and the Hope & Possibilities Run -A- Thon next Saturday November 9, from 7a-7pm

We're going Belly to Belly this week on ABR in honor of the UWW World Championships, this is 3 x World Team member and the Head Coach of the New Jersey Regional Training Center, Reece "Highlight" Humphrey. Reece is currently in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan where two NJRTC team members are representing the United States of America in Freestyle Wrestling. Tyler Graff (65kg) and Pat Downey (86kg) will begin competing on Thursday in their quest to be World Champions.

Reece discussed the NJRTC program and it's unique set up using both the Princeton University and Rutgers University wrestling facilities, growing up in a wrestling family but finding wrestling on his own, cutting weight, building your brand, the benefits of wrestling year round, and having fun while still working hard as Tyler Graff, Pat Downey, Anthony Ashnault, Nate Jackson, CJ Brucki, Bryce Meredith, prepare for the qualifying selection process for the 2020 Olympic Team.

Joe Compagni is the most successful coach in the history Monmouth University Athletics. Since Compagni took over in 1995, the men’s and women’s cross country and track & field teams have won a total of 58 conference titles in both the NEC and MAAC. The Hawks have also won one ECAC and one IC4A team title. He has been named NEC, MAAC, and NCAA Regional Coach of the Year 58 times – 27 times in the NEC, 23 times in the MAAC, and 8 times as a USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. Since 2001, Monmouth track & field athletes have earned 25 NCAA Div. I All-America honors, the most of any sport on the Monmouth campus.

Dr. Amy Wachholtz graduatedDr. Amy Wachholtz with a Master of Divinity degree from Boston University and a specialized graduate degree in Bioethics from a joint Harvard University and Boston University program. She the continued her education to earn her MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology from Bowling Green State University where she had a dual specialization in Behavioral Medicine and Psychology of Religion. She completed her internship through fellowship training at Duke University where she focused on medical psychology and pain management. She also recently completed a post-doctoral Master’s degree in Psychopharmacology.

Her research and clinical interests focus on 1) the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model for chronic pain disorders and palliative care, and 2) the complexities of treating of co-morbid pain and opioid addiction in both acute pain and chronic pain situations. Her research encompasses bench to bedside methodology from psycho-physiological research methods to testing improved patient treatments and has resulted in over 100 publications and presentations.
